News: How Downdraft Towers Generate Wind Power From Solar Energy

The Downdraft Tower will produce 2500 MWh of electricity every hour. Around 35% of this power will be used to fuel the tower's operation, leaving the rest to be sold or distributed back to the grid. This means a Downdraft Tower can effectively create 1500 MWh of cheap, renewable power through conversion of solar energy into wind energy.
